The SmartSpeed® system is able to successfully combine & integrate simultaneous, yet independent engine governing and road speed limiting functions on most Internal Combustion engine Fork-lifts.

 Other Speed Control systems currently available are based on either automotive cruise control or universal diesel truck/bus throttle cable override systems which can tend to be slow reacting on Spark Ignited engines as well as being vulnerable to operator tampering.

 SmartSpeed® is a dual function electronic governor that simply “retrofits” the standard factory mechanical governor with an ECU driven throttle body, to simultaneously manage both engine governing and road-speed control as independent functions.
